The SET Foundation is the Main Partner of the Army 2025 Congress in Stalowa Wola

The SET "Security-Energy-Technology" Foundation has become the Main Partner of the 2nd Army Congress, which will take place on September 27, 2025, in Stalowa Wola. This unique event brings together experts, opinion leaders, and representatives of the military, politics, and media to debate defense, national security, and, in particular, the Polish defense industry. The 2nd Army Congress is held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki.

As an expert organization supporting Poland’s economic development, sovereignty, and security, we are committed to bringing together all stakeholders to discuss the level of readiness and development needs of the domestic arms industry, cybersecurity, in which Poland can and should be a global leader, as well as the common needs and potential of the civilian and military sectors, ” says Wojciech Dąbrowski, President of the Management Board of the SET Foundation.

Organized for the second time in Stalowa Wola – the city of the Central Industrial District, established 88 years ago – the Army Congress builds on the tradition of building Polish economic and military independence. The development of this initiative is particularly significant in the context of a paradigm shift in thinking about armaments in Europe and the geopolitical situation.

" I see participating in the second edition of the Army Congress not only as an opportunity to discuss with experts, but also as inspiration for further action. This event demonstrates that security begins with a shared vision and steely determination, " emphasizes Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz, head of the National Security Bureau.

Mariusz Błaszczak, Minister of National Defense from 2018 to 2013, says: " The Polish security system needs an honest discussion, a true diagnosis, and an action plan. This is what the second edition of the Army Congress in Stalowa Wola will serve. It is a unique forum for the exchange of ideas – a forge of ideas presented by civilian experts, industry representatives, officers, and local government officials who share one common goal: strengthening Polish security ."

The congress will feature four debates on the constitution of security, the expansion of the Polish Armed Forces, new technologies and the arms industry, and security architecture. Confirmed participants include: Reserve Brig. Gen. Mirosław Bryś, Reserve Lt. Gen. Dr. Jarosław Gromadziński, Reserve Lt. Gen.
